Manages grant and contract solicitation, performance, and compliance procedures to assure excellence in Refuge House contracting process and support for agency programs. Assures that agency maintains accurate program statistics and reports to funders. Works closely with staff to assure timely and accurately completion of reports. Assists in the preparation for contract monitoring. Provide administrative support for the Refuge House Board of Directors and the Executive Director. This position also assist in the facilitation of the Refuge House Volunteer Program by collecting and reviewing volunteer applications, scheduling interviews, speaking with interested candidates about the program, and log in hours. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and as a member of a team. Must have experience working as an Executive Assistant and/or in a high level administrative capacity. This position requires a caring, patient, good-humored, and flexible individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with individuals in a crisis. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
