Tyler & Company Is pleased to announce we have been retained for an exciting search for a Chief Executive Officer for Greystone OB/GYN in Conyers, Georgia.

**PRIVATE MEDICAL PRACTICE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

The CEO will be managing a highly successful, privately held OB/GYN practice that has been in the community for 23 years. Initially, the person will work closely with the Managing Partner to clarify and ultimately transfer the duties within this newly created position. The goal is to focus on building an appropriate management team to support current operations as well as future growth of the practice. This person will lead management initiatives and refine policies and procedures necessary for the practice’s ongoing success. This opportunity is for an individual skilled in strategic business planning, leading an effective administrative team, and forging collaborative physician/owner relationships.

Required education and experience:

  • A minimum of five years of successful business experience in leading the operations of a private group medical practice.
  • Must have demonstrated through experience the capability of building an operational infrastructure and management team that can support current business, as well as projected growth for an organization with similar dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Management preferred.

Leadership: Sets the standard as a representative for Greystone OB/GYN. Gets involved in community efforts as Greystone’s representative. Elucidates a clear and strategic vision for the organization. Motivates management and employees to fulfill the obligations and opportunities ahead with ideas and perspectives that are valuable and achievable.

Communication Skills: Seen as direct, truthful and approachable. Able to respond with sound reasoning and communication when making decisions that impact the organization. Visible among the employees at all levels in the practice and obtains firsthand feedback by being an active participant throughout the organization.

Team Building: Able to teach individuals how to better productively interact with all the others in the organization, even under challenging situations. Recognizes others for their contributions by openly sharing wins and accomplishments. Creates an atmosphere of mutual mentoring.

Since opening the practice in 1996, Greystone has offered the community the highest quality in women’s health services. As the practice has grown, they have remained committed to their priorities. Their philosophy is simple: doctors, nurses and patients are partners in health and wellness.

Greystone is the largest OB/GYN practice, by far, in the area. They have experienced consistent growth every year throughout the practice’s existence and have grown from their single founding physician to now having a total of 13 providers (physicians and midwives).

Greystone OB/GYN has a solid reputation in the community and remains very involved with the hospitals in which they practice. Over the years, Greystone providers have served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chief of Staff and OB/GYN Department Chairman.

The practice has a diverse staff, which allows them to promote healthcare to everyone in the area needing care. The team remains very active in local charities for breast cancer, battered women’s shelter, and homes for families, among others, and national efforts such as March of Dimes.

Greystone provides the most up-to-date medical care available to women. They encourage their patients to play an active role in decisions regarding their health. The team of highly trained, experienced board-certified physicians and certified nurse midwives are dedicated to their patients’ health needs and are supported by a caring and knowledgeable staff.
