Audio/Video Manager
About the Position
The Audio/Video Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of media production for LGFCUâs in-house marketing department, supporting the creation and timely delivery of high quality original video and audio content. This position is responsible for project management of video tasks including scheduling shoots and prioritizing deadlines. Other responsibilities include, managing staff, meeting with and collaborating with clients and Creative Directors on video related projects, storyboarding, presenting ideas, set coordination, organizing and maintaining video equipment and maintaining a budget.
Normal Day-to-Day Work
- Execute strategic marketing initiatives as it relates to audio/video production.
- Partner with all stakeholders, internal clients and creative staff to ensure realistic, actionable plans are put in place.
- Collaborate with writers and designers to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
- Routinely review creative briefs, production reports and schedules.
- Oversee studio equipment, coordinate production schedule and manage assignments.
- Effectively participate in creative and conceptual brainstorming sessions.
- Proof and approve video edits and audio mixes.
- Ensure that all deadlines and video quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Research possible purchases on all equipment directly related to video editing systems.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and technical advancements.
Job Qualifications
Here are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.
- Minimum of 7-10 years related experience in Video Production environment.
- Experience with audio recording, mixing and editing.
- Working knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere)
- Other software knowledge within the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).
- Travel required on occasion.
Here are a few qualifications weâd LIKE you to have to make you more suited for this position.
- BS/BA degree in Cinematography, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Working knowledge of motion graphics software or 3D software a plus.
- Experience with teleprompter software and equipment
