Chain AMS (formally a GE Capital business) is a recently formed consulting firm advising and executing for GE and other large companies in various areas of the supply chain. Business is built upon three verticals including Global Financing, Global Remarketing, and Global Vendor Programs. An exciting opportunity to join this GE affiliate during its beginning stages with a big focus on growth.
Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for driving new business within the global financing vertical and developing newly formed relationships while managing the long term success of existing customer accounts.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Input and Business Plan Development
- Design and Implement sales strategy on researched accounts supporting the Chain model
- Identify potential growth areas and commercial plays to build upon current offering
- Cross vertical sales strategy development and partnership with other commercial teams
New Customer Prospecting
- Develop and maintain a successful path into new accounts
- Act as the sole point of contact for key new industrial clients on global financing needs
- Establish relationships with members of C-Suite in large, global companies
- Support marketing and digital team in development of advertising/presentation material
Deal Execution
- In an advisory capacity, Identify, structure, negotiate, and execute financing transactions globally
- Effectively leverage relationships across legal, tax, and capital markets firms/resources to deliver competitively priced and compliant transactions to key customers
- Manage customer relationships post deal closing in a portfolio capacity with clear understanding of digital tools and lease management advantages
Global Financing Team Support
- Provide prospecting and deal execution support to senior originators/MD on existing pipeline
- Assist in research and development of new markets regarding investor coverage, rate environment, regulation and potential tax considerations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree with minimum of 5 years in consultative sales or strategic selling
- Previous experience in the financial services industry
- Basic understand of global capital markets and banking industry
- Ability to break down complex financial challenges and communicate simple structured solutions
- Excellent selling, negotiation, execution, and customer service skills
- Strong relationship building ability with key senior personal
- Ability to clearly communicate both in both verbal and written form
- Strong self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel ~50% of the time including both domestic and internationally
