Position Summary:

The Data and Integration Engineering AVP provides leadership to the Data and Integration Engineering teams, focused on guiding the adoption of standard data and integration platforms that enable the Federal Reserve System to deliver world-class IT services and solutions that are responsive to business needs, adaptive to change, and essential to the Bank’s mission. Provides leadership in areas such as big data, data integration, business intelligence, analytics, messaging, file transfer, and API solutions. Leads the implementation of Data and Integration infrastructure strategy and operating plans; manages resources and the delivery of new capabilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Drives the infrastructure strategy for Data and Integration platforms

Develops and executes staffing plan for the Data and Integration Engineering teams
-
Manages vendor relationships and execution of contracts/SOWs
-
Plans and executes ongoing activities including strategy refresh, change management, workforce planning, and expansion of consulting services to meet evolving needs in accordance with System demands

Accountable for Build function for Data and Integration solutions

Works closely with leadership from the Product and Run functions to ensure streamlined end-to-end delivery of services

Oversees financial reporting requirements and provides support to senior bank management on ad hoc assignments, as requested

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years of high level leadership experience of industry-related IT work, including cloud technology and leading IT transformation or change initiatives within a multi-divisional, multifaceted organization.
