We are looking for an accounting manager/bookkeeper to join our team. We are a family owned property management company based in the Fenton area. This is a one person position/department at our administrative office which is a 4 person office. This is a full time position, 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.
Position responsibilities and skills include but not limited to:
- All general accounting functions: produce monthly financial statements including monthly closings, journal entries, account reconciliations.
- All aspects of A/P and A/R
- All aspects of payroll
- Cash Management
- Analyze financial date, conduct research as necessary
- Projections
- Prepare a variety of internal reports
- Liaison/Contact to provide required reports and information to outside parties
- Setup new entities and related accounting
- Familiar with Real Estate settlement statements
- Tax planning
- Assist outside CPA firm with year end tax preparation
Must have:
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- Bachelors in accounting
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- Dependable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
- Payroll experience preferred
