Job Description
As an A_ccount Manager_, you will immediately jump in to a front-and-center role and become a key member of our ambitious, fast-paced, & highly collaborative team. A typical work day could include meeting with existing or potential customers, cold-calling / emailing new leads, and closing new accounts. At its core, this position will be driving early-adoption of the platform and helping us hit sales goals, while also helping to develop scalable sales processes.
Scope of Work
- Research the local market to identify potential leads.
- Typical clients include: Locally-owned restaurants, boutiques, small retailers, barber shops, beauty shops, coffee shops, etc.
- Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities through continuous prospecting and networking.
- Introduce the Prize product to potential clients.
- Contact decision makers and set appointments to develop new business.
- Perform product demos for prospective customers
- Oversee customer account management, including contract negotiation and sales agreements
- Know your ABC’s — Always Be Closing
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
- Manage service & revenue specific to your accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Maintain a database within our CRM system (Salesforce)
- Maintain an open line of contact with Prize team members. We are always looking for new ideas and recommendations.
- Work with Prize team members to develop a scalable sales model
NOTE: Sales Cycle will typically range from 1 Week to 2 Months

- Prize will provide a tablet/stand, demo materials, and marketing materials
- You can request/suggest new types of marketing materials.

Compensation & Benefits *
- Compensation is based 100% on commission. As of this time, there is no hourly or salary compensation.
- Compensation will be reviewed annually. It is highly likely that the compensation model will evolve significantly as we grow.
- Salespeople will receive a commission of 2*5% of the annual contract *for each customer that signs a sales agreement, once payment is received.
- A salesperson will also be eligible to receive a commission of 25% of the annual contract if one of their accounts renews their subscription, as long as the salesperson satisfies the following requirements:
- On-demand service of the client for the previous year, as needed.
- Successfully touches base with business contact once per quarter. These touchpoints must be documented in our CRM system. (can be in-person, phone call, text message, email, etc.)
- Participation in all bonus programs, stock option pools, etc. as they are implemented.
- The average commission is usually between $150 and $200 per sale
