About the Job:WebCreek’s VP of Business Development leads the company’s business and sales strategy. She/he will manage our business staff, architecting solutions that put our values into action, liaise deep-rooted client relationships, and continue our enterprise’s growth as a nearshoring leader in the IT industry. Responsibilities:
- Increase company sales and growth by leading business strategy plans and execution
- Manage business development and sales staff
- Initiate and manage strategic relationships with potential cities
- Grow and develop new commercial partnerships, including vertical expertise and market environments that initiate strategic partnerships
- Identify potential strategic partners in the industry
- Build a sales operation to scale business development efforts to cities and commercial partners
- Travel to engage client meetings as needed
- Target example renewable markets using grid data analysis
- Measure weekly/monthly performance with KPI metrics
- Lead all aspects of sales processes to assist in solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation
- Manage new customers’ expectations and satisfaction with implementation processes
- Ensure a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the Account Manager following a successful implementation
- Assist other sales and service resources when called upon by the Senior Management
What you need to bring to the table:
- 10 years experience in a Business Development role, with at least 5 years managing a team
- Demonstrated track record of developing direct sales channels and strategic alliances to drive revenue growth
- Experience selling software solutions in the US
- Ability to design, manage, and lead business development programs and projects to achieve deadlines and meet rigorous KPIs
- Ability to construct and negotiate complex contractual agreements and pricing models
- Willingness to travel on occasion
- Experience using CRM systems, developing metrics and dashboards, and managing sales and business development teams through the use of CRM tools and methods
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience in locating, hiring, and managing a team of Account Managers; as well as the ability to scale based on the need to manage and grow business with individual content partners
