Provide leadership to team of commercial finance professionals and/or managers to make strategic finance decisions with one of Honeywell businesses. You will have an opportunity to participate to design and drive financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency thru budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in managing financial performance and implementing key finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will partner with Honeywell business leaders and drive key finance initiatives and decisions. You will also identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to the senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HBT Global Working Capital strategy by leveraging industry experience, peer network and benchmarking avenues
  • Overall Working Capital leadership and oversight – identify, quantify and prioritize opportunities, drive improvement initiatives and robust analysis in Accounts Receivables Past Dues, Inventory, Unbilled, Payables, and Advances
  • Strategic ownership of the Credit and Collections organization for HBT
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes an integrated Working Capital forecast
  • Creation and delivering of presentations to key Buildings and Corp Leadership
  • Develop analytics, tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information for all components of Working Capital and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations
  • Review development areas and establish effective action plans to mitigate risks specific to product and markets
  • Support preparation of monthly management reports, schedules, including budget, strategic planning and variance reports
  • Participate in strategic projects to support business goals, build extensive industry and sub-sector knowledge, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to reduce complexity and increase process standardization efficiency and cycle time
  • Collaborates with multiple levels of management and various business segments including Finance, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Information Technology
  • Ability to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate the team to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence
  • As a strategic leader, drive sustained and continuous improvement in overall Working Capital Turns and Free Cash Flow metrics

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance or business.
  • 5+ years of experience with managing a large, diverse global team

WE VALUE

  • MBA preferred
  • Good “hands on” working knowledge of data analytics using business warehouses, excel, etc.
  • Previous experience in presenting to senior business leaders
  • Leading with courage and making appropriate approval or rejection decisions
  • Good communication skills / being comfortable communicating with 3rd party customers (F2F, e-mail and phone)
