The Group Benefits Digital IT organization is looking for a Scrum Master to join us on our transformation to Lean-Agile ways of working. The Scrum Master’s primary role is to be a servant leader and coach for the Agile delivery team. This person will help educate the team in Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ensuring that the agreed Lean-Agile process is being followed and aligns with The Hartford’s Agile delivery model. They also help remove impediments, and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, transparency and relentless improvement.

Qualifications

  • Basic Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban , XP, etc.
  • Basic Knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs includes fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Basic Knowledge about Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Burn down Metrics, Velocity etc.
  • Resource Management Skills- ability to determine supply and demand and obtain necessary resources across a matrixed organization to complete the work successfully
