Role: Solar Roofing Project Manager

This role will be responsible for the coordination and completion of roofing projects by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. This role requires regular interaction with inter/cross-departmental peers as well as management. Having the experience, presence, and poise to command the respect and trust of others is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction process including scheduling job/installation and permit completion.
  • Communicate with customers, crew members, inspectors, city and county officials.
  • Define and document project scope, requirements, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans while leading and directing the work of others
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Work closely with numerous departments to support timely closeout of projects


Required Skills

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Roofing/Construction Industry experience
  • Knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction process and design, code compliance
  • Ability to thrive in a team atmosphere with the confidence to adjust and adapt as priorities change
  • Familiar with a variety of the Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Executes plans, delivers business goals and implements change
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills are paramount.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees within the organization
