ICG O&T Regulatory Program Management is a front to back Operations and Technology team that works with our Institutional Client Group business and technology to deliver global Regulatory and Compliance projects and programs across all Capital Markets Asset Groups.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Define project scope and objectives, gather, analyze, validate and manage project requirements
- Produce clear requirements documents using a structured analysis methodology
- Liaise with relevant project stakeholders within the technology and business teams across ICG
- Support the technical leads in planning, tracking and executions of the Regulatory deliverables and commitments
- Manage and report on the project progress using the standard templates and tools available
- Establish and maintain best practices and Citi approved PPM procedures across all projects
- Enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the technology group
- Foster an environment that encourages partnering, teamwork and communications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders
- Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects
- Has the confidence and ability to convincingly structure, summaries, defend and present recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge/Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in project planning, tracking, delivery and reporting
- 5+ years of total IT experience, Financial markets product knowledge which includes knowledge of front-to-back trade flows processing and broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles
- Experience of working as BA / PM in front office function is preferred
- Knowledge of Front Office Risk management is preferred
Skills
- Experience in delivering cross asset Regulatory transformation / change and software development (SDLC) projects in Front Office Risk and Data Services
- Experience of working with analytics platforms and technologies (Big Data, Hadoop, AWS) preferred
- Expert level experience with SDLC processes –Agile/Waterfall methodology
- Expert level experience with managing projects, tasks, workflow and reporting in Jira
- Comfortable in using PPM tools such as Planview, Clarity etc.
- Strong analytical skills and some experience in working with large project management data sets to uncover insights is preferred
- Strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills. Articulates with confidence to senior management
- Highly adept and dynamic leader with the ability to provide structure, governance and bring energy and enthusiasm to the team
- Strong team building and management skills
- Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentation
- Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills
- Strong EXCEL, PowerPoint and Project skills
Qualifications
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred
