About the Role

SUMMARY

The Regional Vice President (RVP), Sales will report to the VP, Retail Sales and be a key member of the branch leadership team. The RVP will have key responsibilities including; Branch Manager leadership and coaching, Supervisory and Regulatory responsibilities for all employees in the Area, driving current Branch success and Identifying Future market potential, Facilitating local marketing events, Operations and Compliance oversight, and Employee and Customer Satisfaction and Engagement. In addition, the RVP will play a key role in the recruitment of new hires to the region’s branches for sales roles.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and leads Branch Managers and branch employees in designated areas
  • Helps recruit, hire, and train qualified branch employees; continually supports, develops and motivates team
  • Provides input and has oversight into development and maintenance of assigned books of customers
  • Manages the daily activities of Branch Managers; oversees lead control, sales production, sales activities and customer satisfaction
  • Develops and leads sales and support programs to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual objectives
  • Collaborates with other areas of the organization to ensure seamless customer service and satisfaction
  • Manages risk and ensures all branches in area are protecting the interests of the firm while enhancing the customer experience
  • Champions organizational initiatives and gains the buy in of area teams around them
  • Identifies areas that need improvement in the branch network and collaborates with other areas of the organization to champion change
  • Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, policies and procedures to Branch Managers and branch employees
  • Coordinates team strategic sales meetings
  • Provides direction for the branch teams; understands and explains corporate initiatives and how they relate to the branch teams
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of Branch Managers; actively works to promote and recognize performance
  • Monitors overall activities of the branches; identifies problem areas and directs corrective actions
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required
  • Attends and participates in business/trade events as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned by VP, Retail Sales
  • Develop regional reporting sales metrics to measure the attainment of goals
  • Execute an effective sales process, coaching, and effectively manage, guide and facilitate the efforts of the areal branches in the interest of growing sales
  • Work closely with VP, Retail Branch Network and Regional Sales Director to develop an area business plan; work closely with each Branch Manager to develop a local branch business plan
  • Identify growth opportunities in new communities within geographic area of responsibility
  • Ensure all current facilities meet E*Trade Financials’ standards
*Candidate may be able to sit in one of our Branch Locations or Alpharetta, GA.*
**Candidate will be responsible for a territory from MA to FL and as far west as IL.**

Qualifications

Basic
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10 plus years of industry experience in the area of sales management or general management
  • Series 7, 66, and 8 or 9/10 or 24 Securities Registrations

Preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial services products, offerings and technology
  • Deep understanding of the full service and discount brokerage’s competitive landscape, including product offerings
  • Proven expertise in developing business plans, sales plans and training
  • Expertise in motivating and coaching both Branch Managers and Financial Consultants
  • Successful experience in recruiting, developing, and leading sales teams
  • Expertise in using technology to develop reporting at the regional, branch and Financial Consultant level
  • Dynamic leader who can work with business partners and collaborate across the company
  • Ability to think strategically and implement effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity
