  • Lead the Site Technical Office including Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Tunnel Engineer, Hydro‐mechanical Engineer, Commissioning Expert and any additional technical staff to be eventually hired during the execution of the works.
  • Liaise with the Client.

  • Ensure compliance with Technical Specifications and Drawings.

  • Responsible for the technical coordination and liaise with the Designer in the Head Office

  • Instruct the Contractor about technical and commercial aspects of the work on site.

  • Guarantee the daily monitoring of the project to check the compliance approved designs

  • Responsible technically for approving or not variations or changes connected with the design alteration.

  • Responsible technically for approving a variation of change connected with the permanent material.

  • Prepare the reply for the Technical Request of Information from the Contractor.

  • Maintain the documentation related to the Technical Request of Information from the Contractor.

  • Responsible for verifying on site the permanent material installed.

Application Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering Sciences

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as Project Manager within the Energy Industry.

  • Proven expertise in large intercultural projects in the position foreseen of comparable organization size shall be considered as an asset.

  • Experience in managing multi-discipline and multi-cultural engineering teams.

  • Well established conflict & claim management skills.

  • Highly pro-active working style with teamwork spirit.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Flexibility to meet travel requirements.

  • Has to have sound knowledge and understanding of project control, scheduling cost controlling, contractual terms and conditions.

  • Expertise in tailoring the project controls to the project needs.

  • Ability to identify changes and improvements to Project Control procedures to reflect the Client’s changing requirements.

  • Supervisory experience, including the leadership of others
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
