What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a member of our Program Management Office (PMO) and support a very visible and key agency initiative. As a Project Manager, you will support important IT projects and attend various meetings as the contractor PMO PM who will document key topics discussed, decisions made, and action items assigned.
More About the Role:
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Translating technical subject matter and leadership information into content that can be briefed to all audiences
- Coordinating and developing placemats, as well as briefing slides and other artifacts based on the subject matter and audience
- Defining metrics to measure success against programs, systems and other initiatives, and presenting data in a manner consumable by audiences of varying degrees of technical acumen
- Development and maintenance of supporting documentation, including PowerPoint briefings, workflow diagrams, metrics charts, and Excel spreadsheets, when requested
- Developing strategies, strategy maps, and roadmaps
- Evaluating information gathered and preparing possible solutions for presentation
- Implementing project tracking mechanisms to be able to provide timely and concise updates on project progress to the division’s staff leadership, highlighting areas of risk and capturing key decisions
- Accurately capturing and monitoring status of action items through effective tracking tools and communication of progress
- Presenting recommendations and status updates to senior management
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and consultative skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and proven leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Possess excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate to various levels of organizational management
- Possess strong critical thinking and attention to detail skills
- Possess demonstrated project leadership skills, including experience with all project life cycle phases, including planning, analysis, specifications, quality assurance (QA), process re-engineering, end-user training, and implementation and monitoring of compliance and metrics
- Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques
- Must be skilled at building and cultivating relationships during project engagements to ensure project success
- Strong proficiency with project scheduling tools, such as Primavera Project Management or Microsoft Project and Office Suite
Candidate must have one of the following:
- 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
- 10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
- 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
- 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
- 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Proven ability to support a highly fluid and interactive environment
- Experience with Agile processes and methodologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Work Hours:
- Core hours: 6:00AM – 6:00PM
