Project Manager â Inspiring Architectural or Licensed Architect/Project Management.
Cactus Holdings, Inc. is looking for an Architectural Project Manager to join our corporate team. Position will be responsible to maintain all records of jobs completed in order to justify and evaluate future portfolio. Position will be responsible to oversee, review and coordinate with outside architects, contractors, engineers and vendors in the successful completion and quality performance of all building and improvements. The Architectural Project Manager splits their time between the office and field. The Architectural Project manager will visit construction sites where they interact with engineers, contractors and construction personnel. The Architectural Project Manager studies the financial aspect of projects; organizes construction documents and assumes responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and management approval of materials and construction.

Responsibilities:
Strong design and graphic skills.
Manage new retail projects build outs from design development through turnover, closely collaborating with the tenant design team, internal departments, landlords and architects.
Follow up on permits and licenses from appropriate authorities to ensure deadlines are met.
Review architectural plans, construction plans, and other documents as needed.
Compile budget and cost estimates for all projects.
Prior experience on all phases of a project, including Construction Documents and Contract Administration.
Ability to multi-task, collaborate on teams of varying sizes, and work well under deadlines.
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Develops, organizes and reviews building plans, as well as preparing construction contracts for general contractors.
Assist with the interviewing and hiring of contractors and architects for proposed projects.
Ensures construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards.
During construction site visits, monitors progress and ascertain whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Architecture Degree (Masters of Architectural degree a plus).
A B.Arch. program Certification for architectural project managers is voluntary.
Minimum three yearsâ experience in the architectural, engineering or construction fields.
Advanced understanding of architectural technology and production documents for projects of various sizes and complexities.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with range of individual, including clients, consultants, and other architects.
Strong AutoCAD or Revit skills.
Strong Adobe illustrator & photoshop
Understanding and sensitivity to the retail environment as it relates to construction and corporate goals.
