Job Description:
Directs activities concerned with contracts for purchase or sale of materials, products, or service by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required
- Reviews and administers contract terms and conditions; contract negotiations, ensuring all customer contract/programs are flowed throughout the appropriate company departments bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
- Negotiates contract with customer or bidder; prepares schedules; notifies management and customer of program status
- Administers contracts, including final approval of payment
- Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts.
- Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations
- Compiles data for preparing estimates
- Maintains contract status databases such as; purchase order records, ensuring customer orders are entered into sales order system
- Coordinates customer engineering, contract change proposals and other RFQ activity and work of sales department with production and shipping department to implement fulfillment of contracts

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw solid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

SEKISUI Aerospace is located in Renton, WA with facilities in Washington and Iowa. We design, engineer and manufacture composite structures used in commercial aircraft interiors.
