Your Opportunity:

This primary objective of this role is to take full responsibility for the Automotive Division of Traka including the KEYper Systems business in North Carolina and Traka’s Global Automotive development, providing overall leadership and strategic direction and delivering operational excellence, driving sales, profits, cash flow and increasing market penetration.

It will be your mission to:

  • Continue to develop and implement the Global Automotive and other sectors strategies, overseeing the development of the KEYper Systems business commercially, operationally and technically to drive rapid growth, profitability and cashflow year on year of this $20-25m division, while developing our leading position and market presence around the world in conjunction with the other Traka Divisions and ASSA ABLOY teams around the world.
  • Ensure the technical and commercial support infrastructure is established, efficient and aligned to support the sales growth in these markets
  • Plan and direct the organisational activities to achieve agreed targets and standards for growth and financial performance, quality and legislative compliance.
  • Work with other members of Traka Executive team to develop and implement global strategies for the development of Traka and the wider ASSA ABLOY group.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively around the world to maximise the full potential of the business while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Represent KEYper and Traka Automotive at the Executive meetings, Board meetings with ASSA ABLOY divisional management and in wider management forums
  • Recruit, select, develop, motivate and retain the very best talent in the market.
  • Lead, motivate and develop an exceptional management team.
  • Develop and maintain organisational culture, values and its reputation in the external markets and all employees, leading by example
  • Ensure the business is managed to the very highest health, safety and environmental standards.

Special competencies:

  • Ability to identify and develop competencies to achieve future business goals.
  • Have a strong track record of P&L business leadership, with good knowledge of financial, manufacturing operations, and field service and product development of a solutions business
  • Have strong commercial and selling skills, including experience and interest in technical hardware and software environments
  • Have the ability to provide accurate short and longer-term business plans for, set realistic milestones and review appropriately.
  • Experience and the ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to promote and facilitate continuous development of employees within the organisation.
  • Experience in Automotive Car Dealerships or Security/Access Systems is beneficial.
  • The role will be based in Charlotte NC, but significant US and Global travel will be required.
