Description

A critical member of the Sales Enablement and Operations Organization, the Senior Sales Operations Manager will be dedicated to one of Deluxe’s high growth segments and will work closely with the head of sales for that segment to drive sales strategy and execution. Serving as a chief of staff, this role will own the operating rhythm and management reporting cadence in alignment with those established by the Chief Revenue Officer, General Managers and Finance.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with head of sales to drive annual planning, sales strategy and execution
  • Drive weekly sales forecast and pipeline reviews and analysis with a regional sales leader by providing insights and recommendations based around key operational data.
  • Gather requirements from cross functional partners, sales leadership and field sales team members on reporting requirements across different systems
  • Prepares data and slides for sales forecasts, ops reviews, QBRs and other executive meetings.
  • Accountable to drive activities around the business management system (process and tools) and provide thoughtful analysis/recommendations to executives and leaders
  • Support and provide business insights and recommendations to achieve business goals that enable cohesive strategic growth-oriented decisions.
  • Enhance sales productivity by identifying opportunities to streamline processes that impact sales and by ensuring that the sales process is widely understood by the sales team members and managers and aligned to the customer buying process.
  • Drive process and discipline into the improvement and adoption of Salesforce.com.


Required:

Education: Bachelors (or equivalent experience) in business or finance

Experience: 5-7 years of practical commercial and analytical experience supporting sales environment

Critical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong sales enablement, sales operations or sales finance background
  • Strong analytical skills masterful with excel and experienced in analyzing sales data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Extensive Salesforce.com skills experience creating a variety of reports and establishing dashboards
  • Strategic approach to problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong relationship building, cross functional influence and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally, managing concurrent projects tasks, resources, delegation and deliverables and challenging the status quo
