Ogemaw County Director of Business Services
To serve as a resource for business, providing direction and aiding them in their success, growth, and profitability. Including, but not limited to: coordinating state, federal and local resources with the needs of businesses to ensure business sustainability; assessing the needs of businesses; offering solutions or making referral recommendations that address those areas; designing and executing an action plan ensuring each business’ needs have been met; maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all Michigan Works Region 7B programs and policies; and state, federal and local services ensuring appropriate referrals or solutions can be made; providing employee recruitment services with the scope being determined by the business; networking with businesses, agencies, educational institutions and other service organizations to increase exposure of Michigan Works; representing the organization in a professional, cooperative, and respectful manner. Ability to provide Economic Development activities and work with the EDC board. Will report to the Chief Operating Officer; compensation based on experience.
