The Marketing Director holds ultimate responsibility for Paradromics marketing activities, including strategy, and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing and communications plan.
The Marketing Director will work with leadership to develop a marketing plan compliant with
Paradromics vision, values and regulatory needs. Responsibilities include creation of a budget and
KPIs and management and execution of the brand strategy, messaging, events, marketing and communications across all owned, earned and paid media channels.
This position will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the marketing strategy effectively communicates the organizations’ proposition to all its external stakeholders – from patients, investors, the scientific and medical community, healthcare organizations, academics and the wider informed public.
The role will require a continuous analysis of the medical and tech environment, trends, conferences and speaking engagements alongside a deep understanding of the most effective ways to reach and engage external stakeholders across all channels of communication – from traditional PR and media relations to digital.
Tasks
- Build brand strategies and positioning recommendations for a range of messages and audiences. Including six key audiences; Investors, informed public, KOLs, HCP, tech community and academics.
- Recognize nuances that define each audience and know how to communicate to them
(external stakeholder mapping).
- Conduct competitive audits, desk research, client interviews and integration with primary research.
- Simplify findings and recommendations to create compelling stories; translate great conceptual ideas into actionable, ‘real–world’ ideas that excite and engage target audiences.
- Work collaboratively to create strategic recommendations that integrate research, design, experience, industry knowledge, and client knowledge.
- Create an effective and targeted channel strategy to reach and engage target audiences in the most effective way.
- Identify/anticipate issues and proactively and effectively manage them.
- Identify opportunities to extend your message to a global market.
- Provide unscripted strategic counsel.
- Frame marketing and messaging solutions in terms of business impact.
- Proactively engage the media with timely news and press releases and develop meaningful relationships to ensure positive coverage.
- Drive digital and social media strategy.
- Identify and engage strategic partnerships through marketing and PR.
- Manage – when necessary – any third-party communications agencies and PR freelancers.
- Devise a measurement framework for the business including SMART objectives that deliver meaningful objectives, benchmarked and reviewed regularly.
- To ensure clear communication across internal teams and be responsible for cascading essential marketing information and updates and be proactively visible and approachable to all team members.
- To carry overall ownership and accountability for marketing budget.
- To always represent the organization at the highest level with key stakeholders.
