Managing Director
Position Summary:
KenCCID, a leader in providing residential housing and support services to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in order to promote independence, self-sufficiency and a better quality of life, is currently seeking a knowledgeable, disciplined Managing Director. The Managing Director is a key member of the KenCCID Executive Team and is responsible for Program Operation and staff of KenCCID; also responsible for the management of KenCCID’s resources as well as the establishment of strategic goals, compliance oversight, budgetary and environmental plans to make sure goals are met, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the Individuals. Assess, monitor and approve Behavioural Support Plans for Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provides leadership and exhibits awareness and understanding of ethical principles consistent with KenCCID’s Vision and Values. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensures that the safety, well-being and rights of the Individuals are protected and observed at all times
- Ensure that all Individuals are being treated with respect, dignity and are in a safe environment at all times
- Help drive a culture of compliance throughout the organization and promote relevant compliance policies and practices
- Structure and execute, with direction from the CEO, and support from HR Director, compliance policies and standards to ensure that the Vision, Mission and objectives of KenCCID are being adhered to, based on PA Department of Human Services, Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), PA Title 55, § 6100 regulations.
- Supervises, instructs, supports and provides guidance to Individuals served in accordance with the Behavioral Support Plan within the structured specialized behavioral program as well as the team-driven ISP
- Apply treatment strategies, therapeutic interventions and protocols derived from an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) model developed by the team
- Oversee the collection of data on the Behavior Support Plans and outcomes
- Works with Individuals on daily living skills in a structured environment to obtain consistent routine and skills through observation and direction
- Files documentation in charts and files and updates when applicable
- Ensures medical guidelines are followed regarding medication administration
- Oversee and manage the implementation of all Individual Support Plans (ISP’s) and ensure that they are reviewed and updated when required
- Oversee program development and identify program areas which need improvement, and develop strategies for improvement in coordination with the CEO
- Ensure that all staff are trained on how to effectively communicate with all Individuals
- Oversee the intake and discharge process to ensure that Individuals who are admitted to KenCCID are consistent with the values of the organization and protected by the regulations
- Directs and supervises the activities of staff and manages to KenCCID Values, Vision and Mission Statements & Code of Ethics, company policies and procedures
- Coordinates with the HR director, Compliance Manager and Investigator Coordinator the investigation of incidents, complaints and questions relative to compliance issues
- Oversees and analyzes situations to determine instances of suspected abuse, violent confrontations and combative situations and unethical behavior and institutes necessary remedies
- Provides guidance, advice and direction to all department leaders, staff and stakeholders related to organization compliance
- Approves and institutes applicable training in coordination with department heads
- Ensure the distribution and implementation of compliance communication materials and updates
- Perform internal audits with CEO & executive team to ensure that KenCCID’s compliance procedures, policies and standards are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance issues with applicable procedures and regulations
- Develops in conjunction with CEO & executive team, appropriate and timely corrective action plans to resolve risks and prevent future risks
- Coordinates with CEO, with staff, Finance committee, and the Board in preparation of the budget
- Maintains budgets and monitors costs against budget for KenCCID as well as the related community and business projects
- Represent the programs and point of view of the organization to agencies, organizations and the general public
- Knowledge of contract negotiation with Union, and represent the KenCCID in union matters, when applicable

Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Social Work, Special Education or equivalent plus a minimum of five years working in a Human Services in a residential environment in a leadership role
- A Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License a plus
- PA Department of Human Services, Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), PA Title 55, § 6100 regulations and standards,
