Position Available: Head of Design and Product Development

Founded in 2001, and based in Austin, TX, Shaesby creates uniquely timeless hand-crafted fine jewelry that celebrates everyday elegance.
About the Position
We are in search of a full-time jewelry designer that will conceptualize, design, and produce samples continuously throughout the year. Candidate must be able to design innovative and versatile styles that fit the Shaesby brand attributes and aesthetic.
The position is full time and is based in Austin, TX. Hours are Monday â Friday, 8:30 â 5 PM.
Candidate Requirements
- Complete knowledge of the jewelry production process (including, but not limited to wax carving, lost wax casting, stone setting, fabrication, soldering, hand forging, etc.), design techniques, tools and construction, along with the ability to execute and produce all designs in-house
- Must be a skilled and proficient bench jeweler
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills
- Must be able to take direction, constructive feedback and alter designs as needed
- Possess a high level of efficiency, creativity, and thorough attention to detail
- Must be able to work on different projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Must be able to work in production as needed
- 5 + years of experience in jewelry product development
