The Head of Correspondent is accountable for managing the outside sales team who engages our clients based on the business strategy and risk/return analytics in order to drive the overall business plan.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the business including but not limited to the following; development and implementation of the business strategy, volume and resulting profitability for Contribution Margin and Net Income Before Tax, Customer Experience results as measured by NPS, productivity measurements.
  • Responsible for helping drive efficiencies across operations, risk and credit policy, and working directly with capital markets/secondary to drive execution. Responsible for market and competitive intelligence, transformational leadership.
  • Responsible for CRA contributions and minimizing CRA costs.
  • Engage with senior team members across the organization for CitiMortgage and Corporate Banking, ICG and Retail and Cards.
  • Accountable for the execution of the sales strategy, utilizing client specific targeting and engagement strategies along with client-centric fulfillment service levels and processes.
  • 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services; emphasis on mortgage banking experience preferred.
  • Thought leadership in Mortgage with P&L ownership and the ability to operate across lines of business to achieve franchise strategies.
  • A proven track record of decision making and problem-solving based on detailed analysis is critical.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders – challenges self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogue.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and build an ethical culture that supports diversity and inclusion.
  • Outstanding executive communication skills/extensive knowledge of legal, regulatory, business partnerships and corporate policies/procedures to ensure compliance and minimize corporate risk.
  • Involvement in a variety of broad based and complex issues requiring conceptual analysis.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
