The Casual-Regular (Part-Time) Guest Experience Manager-Entertainment position supports Disney’s Animal Kingdom Entertainment Operation with management and oversight of a variety of live show entertainment offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort.

  • Master’s degree in theatre-related field or equivalent professional live show entertainment experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in theatre-studies or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with entertainment collective bargaining agreements
  • Multiple Language fluency
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in Stage Management, Convention Events, or other live show event management
  • Minimum 3 years professional leadership experience
  • Strong service orientation and background
  • Proven ability to call show cues in a high paced changing environment
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of leading multiple unions
  • Strong familiarity with lighting, audio, special effects, scenic and stage set-up systems
  • Proven proficiency with various software/computer programs including MS Office programs
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, influencing abilities, and ability to provide effective feedback
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to initiate, organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
  • Demonstrated aptitude for budgeting and scheduling
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays and overnights

Responsible for oversight of daily live entertainment offerings with focus on Stage Shows. Responsible for the coordination and presentation of shows, and integrating and supervising all show elements including performers, technicians, costuming, cosmetology, maintenance and Park Operations. Accountable for show maintenance including coordinating and conducting brush-up rehearsals, lighting and audio calls, scenic touch-ups, and communication with costuming teams. Supervise all performers and technicians, extensive coordination and partnership with various other departments, teams and lines of business, while developing and maintaining positive relationships. Guest Experience Managers must have a complete understanding of the creative intent, and be able to maintain that vision throughout an event and/or live show entertainment offering. Manage and utilize all forms, tools, processes and resources as appropriate to facilitate scheduling, payment, labor tracking and reporting tools as well as provide oversight of day-to-day schedules, and time sheets. Required Education :
