Position Summary
The Facility Care Night Manager is part of Facility Care Management team responsible for the overall administration of Facility Care services at night. The manager must be a leader that can demonstrate a high skill of leadership, and be an engine to bring positive changes by making sound decisions that will increase productivity and control expenses. He/she will manage, direct and develop a team of employees that will be assigned under his/her supervision. This person should demonstrate leadership and be willing to drive positive change per company policy; participate in and support learning organizational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the crew and oversees the day-to-day operation of Facility Care service as directed.
- Ensures the daily operations within his/her area of responsibility, perform in accordance of company policy by ensuring the operation is properly staffed.
- Must have the capacity to take initiative when problems arise, and flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
- Must have advanced attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines as well as of multitask and excellent organizational skills.
- Support and contribute to team goals and work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Keep track of all maintenance requirements (janitorial, sweeping, trash removal, light bulb and electrical fixtures, snow removal and pressure wash and other non-technical services) for each locations with proper documentation to make sure that they are performed as per the agreement qualitatively to fulfill clientsâ expectations to meet the financial goals.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the given deadlines. Tasks include planning of annual budgets and effectively follow-up all services are executed as per the budget, and, accurately preparation invoices for rendered services.
- Developing and implementing plans to control expenses and increase revenue with efficient operations of labor and material usage, and meeting the overall performance goals for each locations.
- Control fuel consumption, truck usage and repair, and procedures are followed documented and analyzed to minimize cost.
- Ensure operational processes, procedures, and policies are documented and followed regularly.
- Review planned budgets with actual performance of all Facility Care services, and staffing requirements.
- Establish periodic performance of quality of services and develop goals for team members within on a regular basis.
- Coordinate the operation functions with all portfolios, administrative, support functions to render services.
- Continually improve professional relationships with all portfolios or outside clients.
- Act as an operational liaison point between Facility Care, and other portfolios, so that all rendered services are qualitative and satisfy the need of our clients.
- Encourage and foster teamwork within the organization and the department.
- Maintain awareness of the trend and quality of our services compared to others providers to expand our scope of services.
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to a team of employees responsible for the daily operations of projects and facilities.
- Establish annual and periodic performance and development goals and evaluate performance against established metrics.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other special projects as directed by the Vice President, Director of Facility Care.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Minimum of four year with operational and leadership experience in related industry.
- Established experience in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Power
Point, and Outlook.
- Excellent oral (including formal presentations) and written communications and comprehension skills, required.
- Possess a valid Driverâs License.
Qualifications Desired
- Background In the parking industry in a supervisory role within a private operation organization strongly desired, but not required.
- Ability to source new business opportunities for company consideration is desired.
- Scheduling to meet daily operational needs strongly desired.
Performance Standards
This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance as compared to company stated expectations and agreed upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

This position will have contact with the companyâs clients, corporate contract, customers, vendors, and various contractors.
