JOBSUMMARY:
Facilities Asset Manager is responsible for theoverall building and grounds maintenance. The Facilities Asset Manager willreport daily to morning Managerâs meetings and coordinate clear communicationbetween Corporate Facilities Manager, and other management staff.Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising and prioritizing the workload for departmental staff, floating between tasks that are scheduled forthe day, as determined by the current project and repairs needed their type &the operational functions necessary each day.
The facilities Asset manager will order and/or approveall equipment and supplies. Other tasks include sign-off on all work orders and arrange for equipment repair. Facilities Asset Manager will be responsiblefor compliance to departmental OSHA safety standards, ensure work is conductedin a manner that minimizes disruptions and is on call for all emergencies.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning building maintenance and operational programs
- Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems
- Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees

- Managing facilities planning and space allocation
- Preparing cost estimates for moves and equipment
- Coordinating with department heads and building contractors
- Managing maintenance of grounds
- Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
- Coordinating building security and maintenance services
- Overseeing all building functions
- Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
- Inspect & ensure working contractors are abiding by our SQFrules

SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES
The position is aManagement position. Some responsibilities include assisting in instructing andtraining in work methods for new hires. Duties do involve ensuring the safety ofin-house and visiting personnel and maintaining the security at the backdoor(s) & shipping/receiving areas.
BACKUP PERSONNEL:
TheFacilities Asset Manager may be backed up by Maintenance Supervisor & LevelII Maintenance Worker(s).
MINIMUMQUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- EducationRequirement: HS Diploma or GED
- ExperienceRequirements: 5 + yrs. General maintenance and/or building & groundsexperience, including electrical, plumbing, masonry, and framing.
- Equivalentcombinations of education and work experience will be considered.
- Priormanagement Experience preferred
- HeavyDuty Equipment Certification
- OSHACertification
- Clean& Valid NYS Drivers license
- RespiratorCertification (Medical Exam & Fit Test)
EQUIPMENT,MACHINES AND SOFTWARE USED
This position requires the regular use of motorizedfacility equipment/vehicles and a variety of typical maintenance tools,machines and equipment.
Computer Software: Excel,Word, Outlook, Email.
MENTALAND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderatemental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machineoperations, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions todetect and adjust for a variance.
Closemental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily withdetailed repairs, and while performing parking lot duties near traffic.
PHYSICALACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments. Including the outside perimeter of the building, including the mezzanine, elevated areas, drains, confined spaces.
- Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions.
- Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break.
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move objects exceeding 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
