Footsteps2Brilliance, Inc. is searching for an experienced, reliable, organized Executive Assistant to work closely with the CEO of a dynamic educational software company that levels the playing field for all children. The Executive Assistant will be a main point of contact for the educational clients that Footsteps2Brilliance services, and will be working closely with our internal team. The ideal candidate has an education background, is highly self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and is looking to join a company and team that is making a difference for children across the country.

Footsteps2Brilliance, Inc. is a transformative pre-K through 3rd grade literacy solution that utilizes mobile technology to connect school, home, and the community for academic success. Its innovative Mobile Technology Platform allows comprehensive literacy apps to be accessed online or offline from any mobile device or traditional computer. This enables school districts, for the first time ever, to leverage the mobile devices that parents already own to create Model Innovation Cities—a turnkey, citywide literacy solution.

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as the main point of contact between CEO/COO and the internal team and external clients

· Schedule meetings and appointments

· Coordinate travel arrangements

· Act as office manager, ensuring supplies are in kept stock

· Conduct research and prepare for meetings

· Maintain an organized filing system, both paper documents and electronic documents

· Maintain discretion with sensitive information

· Additional tasks as needed

· Must be able to work in our Washington, DC office

Key Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor degree or higher – education related field preferred

· Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

· Excellent knowledge in MS Office

· Exemplary organization and time management skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

· High level of verbal and written communication skills

· Flexibility, willingness to take initiative, and a positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Executive Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
