It’s an exciting time to join Meda! We have a new President and CEO leading the organization and we are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant to support him. You will be part of an organization that is creating real and positive change across Minnesota. At Meda, we help minority entrepreneurs grow their businesses by providing financing and business consulting solutions and corporate and government opportunities
This position will ensure that the President and CEO’s time is leveraged effectively, identifying and resolving issues that could impact the successful execution of commitments. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for a full range of administrative support including calendar management, travel administration, board meeting preparation and correspondence.
Qualified applicants should have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support; at least 1 year supporting a senior-level executive.
- Effective writing and editing skills.
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office products.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Experience in managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Demonstrated high level of cultural sensitivity.
- Prefer experience in working with board management software.
