Educational Director

Sunshine Learning Center is currently seeking a passionate and ambitious Educational Director with strong leadership and supervisory skills, to join our team!

We are a state-of-the-art facility, servicing students from six weeks to five years old. Our mission is to create a safe and loving environment while providing our students with quality education.

Our Directors are responsible for but not limited to:

• Understanding and implementing current curriculum, ensuring early education center meets all educational goals
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with teachers and parents
• Conducting formal and informal teacher observations
• Overseeing student assessments
• Conducting staff training
• Manage daily operations, ensuring all policy and procedures are met
• Supervision of students and staff.

Education and related work experience:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Must have NYS Teachers Certification
• Must have 3 years of teaching experience AND 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting
