Responsibilities
The Director of Project Management is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Turnover Department. This team is responsible for the move-in, move-out, utility service coordination and renovation project management for all residential properties under management. The turnover team is charged with ensuring the timely completion of these activities, along with the quality assurance of rental units prior to their being released to marketing for lease.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
¡ Provide leadership, training and development to assigned staff members
- Ensure optimum productivity of staff through ongoing training, instruction, counselling and leadership
- Demonstrate an understanding in the development of project scope of work and construction pricing
- Demonstrate an understanding in the onboarding of vendors and vendor management
- Demonstrate an understating of vendor billing and construction contract negotiation
- Act as a training and quality control resource to ensure proper workflow for all turn service and project workflows
- Demonstrate ability to understand and meet company financial goals and timelines
- Demonstrate ability to understand and develop KPI and goal report of established goals to senior management
- Provide development and support of policy to ensure homes are delivered to company standards
- Confirm resident satisfaction levels are maintained to our Standards of Service
Qualifications
- Prior single-family operations experience
- 5+ years prior management experience preferred
- Prior property management experience
- Ability to work well using electronic tools and technology-based systems
- Knowledge of PropertyWare is preferred
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelorâs degree
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to meet budgets and control costs
- Ability to work well using mobile office electronic tools
- Excellent math and financial acumen
- Demonstrated attention to detail
