GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Chief Operating Officer assists the CEO in the daily operations of the hospital. Additionally, the COO is in command of the facility in the absence of the CEO and provides direct supervision throughout the facility during these times. Position has overall responsibility for managing, coordinating, supervising, and implementing treatment programs and the delivery of services in an effective manner for each clinical unit of the hospital. The position works closely with the Medical Director, as well as the other medical staff, to ensure that the hospital delivers a high level of therapy services that meets the patientsâ needs and is in compliance with all regulatory standards. Works closely with the Business Development Director to market the hospital to referral sources and to ensure appropriate and effective communication back to referral sources about patients they have referred to the hospital. Hires and supervises staff in order to ensure a productive team that operates with high morale. The position works cooperatively with other management team members to ensure that each patient has a positive clinical experience with the best possible outcome.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field with at least five (5) years experience working with adolescents and adults. Must have a current licensure by the State of Georgia as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker.
