Project Management Support/Business Analyst needed to generate process documentation and project reporting for IT Mission Readiness Support Plan for Mars 2020 and other products in support of missions. Will proactively interview IT Service Leads for document mission support readiness, including service description, service performance, escalation paths, points of contact. Will develop processes to track completion of work in these service areas, initially in support of Mars 2020 but also in support of other missions in implementation. Will generate and track metrics for project commitments and demand management for mission customers.
Qualified candidates should possess BA/BS degree and 3+ years of experience/proficiency in the following areas:
- Comfortable in working in an environment with competing demands and changing requirements
- Strong project management/business analyst background – including development and tracking of metrics
- Strong customer focus, presentation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of issue tracking/reporting and project managements tools, such as Jira, MS Project, PowerPoint
Desired experience/skills include the following:
- PMI certified
- Current working knowledge of IT services for operations, networking, and cybersecurity
- Current working knowledge of flight projects/mission activities at JPL
- Knowledge of SmartSheets
