The Vice President of Revenue Strategy will successfully integrate the synergies between revenue, analysis, sales and distribution channels to drive profitability to the portfolio of hotels and team assignments. This position will report into the Senior Vice President of Revenue and Digital Strategy while working closely with finance, operations, analytics and sales leaders when analyzing, formulating and deploying various revenue and pricing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management
Practical management experience enables the vice president to set realistic goals and allocate suitable resources to achieve those goals.
Develop relationships with all leaders within Crescent, Ownership groups, Asset Managers, Operations, Sales, Digital, Business Development and Finance to create and execute yield-generating strategies, assess hotel offerings and identify pricing opportunities.
Leverage the analyst role to assist with data collection and analytics within Crescent or within Brand Partners.
Work with Area and Corporate Directors to maximize the time spent on/with hotel teams to efficiently execute strategies.
Engage the digital department to provide ideas and support with online distribution of strategies and creative for strategy optimization in the digital environment.
METRICS
Monitor performance and manage proper hotel metrics (KPI, Index Scorecards, etc).
Develop and execute initiatives that increase revenue and market share by integrating all revenue resources, including digital, group sales and catering.
Develop and utilize advanced analytical models that measure elasticity and yield opportunities.
Assess pricing strategies for our ancillary offerings and total hotel revenues.
Performs all other duties and ad-hoc projects as required by the business.
LEADERSHIP
The Vice President must display leadership skills to inspire and encourage staff to provide the highest standard of revenue strategy and its management.
Effectively promote revenue generation across departments that may not necessarily have direct revenue responsibility.
The VP of Revenue will build revenue focus throughout the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelorâs degree and/or MBA Master in Hospitality or equivalent education required
10+ years of revenue and/or yield management in a relevant industry preferably multi-branded experience
Experience with major brand(s) business models (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, and Wyndham)
Experience with independent hotels and soft brands (Preferred Hotels, Leading Hotels, WorldHotels, etc)
Proven success developing and executing revenue enhancing initiatives in hotels/resorts
Proven success developing and implementing pricing strategies
Proven success and ability to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives
Experience with recurring revenue or subscription business models preferred
Outstanding organization skills to quickly learn our business and deploy tactics to compliment historical success and growth
Excellent analytical skills and experience to effectively gather, analyze and utilize key data that supports proposed initiatives
Sense of urgency to meet the demands of our fast past environment
Ability to build relationships and influence owners, hotel teams and senior operations leaders
Possess strong written and verbal presentation skills
Possess strong excel skills
This position is required to travel as needed
