We are seeking a Vice President of Operations for the West Region (including the states of Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah). Candidates must reside within one of these states and be willing to travel 75%+ of the time.
Responsibilities of this rewarding position include:
- Overseeing operations of assigned companies, providing leadership and management guidance
- Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Directing short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals
- Ensuring that companies have proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to meet operational and financial targets
- Collaborating with management teams to develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure to accommodate growth objectives
- Participating in expansion activities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field
- Minimum five years experience in a VP of Operations or similar role
- Strong understanding of hospice industry, with knowledge of home health or other similar healthcare industry
- Understanding of business functions such as human resources, finance, marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
