POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Corporate Operations position will set strategic vision and drive operational change. This role is responsible for the leadership of a regional operations and managers to meet strategic goals of productivity, profitability, consistency, and client experience through the proposal, design, construction, P&L and operational processes for field operations nationwide. The VP will bring a track record of creating new solutions, possess the ability to structure a strategy, and build external and internal partnerships, necessary to deliver the strategy. The VP will be working in both new build and existing environments within all of E2’s integrated solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage the day to day company operations including leadership of regional operations.
- Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities.
- Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes to increase profitability.
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and manage productivity metrics and efficiencies.
- Hold teams accountable to manage overall budgets and ensure all regions/locations comply with financial controls and policies.
- Oversee the management and administration of projects across all E2 locations
- Drive teams to execute all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, competitive bidding, team selection, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Enhance, operationalize and implement organizational vision as established by Executive Leadership Team.
- Meet goals and metrics mandate designated by Executive Leadership.
- Provide end-to-end thought leadership, insight and influence around E2’s enterprise-wide strategy.
- Assist to identify and exploit synergies and market opportunities.
- Leads the development and execution of differentiating client experience strategies that enhance the team’s overall value proposition and processes to the field operations.
- Ensure consistent operations and compliance across client contracts and client data.
- Lead efforts for reporting out metrics and operational performance dashboards for Executive Leadership Team.
- Build for the future and provide strong leadership; work with recruiting team to attract, motivate and retain a diverse, qualified and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs.
- Implement data driven-solutions to address various factors to help drive the process and communication steps required to help achieve E2’s business goals.
Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to occasionally travel as required by E2 and/or the customer(s).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Business Administration or Construction is preferred
- Master’s degree – MBA preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- RCDD certification is preferred
- OSHA 10 required. OSHA 30 is preferred
Experience:
- 10-15+ years’ telecommunications/low voltage P & L operations management and revenue growth experience.
- 10+ years construction/telecommunications/data center industry experience with strong background in multiple facets of technology.
- Demonstrated success managing a 50M+ service division – preferred
- Experience of successful implementation and delivery of construction projects nationally.
- Successful track record of leading teams of 30-50 managers across regions.
- In-depth understanding of new commercial low voltage requirements including data center design, construction & operations, infrastructure installations and quality and safety protocol.
- Proven project management experience on time, on budget, with safety and quality required.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting an environment of world-class client focus, transparency and collaboration.
- Experience with security, audio visual, videoconferencing, wireless communications preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Decision Making and Judgment:
- This position requires the ability to assess information and interpersonal interactions to negotiate business that meets or exceeds client expectations, while providing a profitable revenue stream for E2 Optics.
- This position involves considerable decision-making authority and creative problem solving skills regarding procedures, plans, and schedules. Although there are sometimes problem-solving guidelines for particular problems, there may be no existing procedures or instructions for those problems.

- Proficient with reading and understanding blueprints of building floor plans and construction designs.
- Knowledge of data infrastructure industry including technology, quality and safety standards.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Knowledge of the PMBOK Guides and Standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
