Assists with development of strategy for Managed Care contracting on behalf of all Baptist Health facilities, affiliated/owned physician groups and ancillary providers in accordance with corporate market share, financial, and community-focused goals and objectives, which entails legal contract review, negotiations, contract implementation and maintenance, and ongoing support of internal and external relationships. Responsible for contracting with work comp payers and networks to increase market share for Prime Comp in Northeast Florida by establishing and maintaining a strong, open and positive working relationship with external work comp insurer and network executives and team members and employers.
- 1-2 years Managed Care Contracting Experience
- Hospital Operations Experience
- Experience with developing MC contract proposals
- Experience with negotiation of contracts
