Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the CEO, the Site Director is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the male-specific withdrawal management and short-term residential (STR) site. The Site Director supervises counselors and support staff to ensure quality services are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide educational and supervisory support and services to LIGHT House program team members
- Use the LIGHT Model in all interactions
- Serve as a liaison to funding and referral sources for the site
- Ensure initial screenings and follow-ups for client referrals are properly conducted
- Oversee client admission and discharges to the program and ensures occupancy rate meets expectations.
- Plan and provide program activities as directed
- Direct STR staff meetings
- Facilitate communication between this locationâs staff members
- Supervise the maintenance of office, office files, equipment, and supplies
- Responsible to ensure the safety of clients and staff
- Supports the marketing efforts of this site/program
- Engage in clinical activities by facilitating two or more therapy/didactics per week and carry a client case load as needed
- Ensure employees are properly trained and credentialed for their assigned duties
- Facilitate all computer billing for all sites
- Research and correct billing errors for resubmission
- Serve as emergency on call and emergency responder when necessary
- Approve timecards and vacation requests
- Ensures nurses follow proper withdrawal management protocol, medication management protocol and medical assessment protocol.
- Lead and oversee all personnel at site, completing performance reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary along with HR Director
- Is responsible for maintaining the employee schedules that ensures 24/7 staff coverage of the site.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensed Masters (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC) and MCBAP certification preferred (CAADC), with minimum of full license and MCBAP development plan submitted upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in substance abuse treatment; preferably 5+ years.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others
