    Role: Senior Project Manager

    Location: Rosemead, California

    The Project Manager (PM) will provide support in portfolio management, strategic planning, and coordination on complex business issues by engaging and consulting with clients and analyzing business needs. At the portfolio level, the Project Manager will support the program manager in all tasks as directed. Project Manager will also take responsibility for the development, implementation, and coordination of all PMO activities in support of the design, evaluation, analysis, demonstration, construction, satisfaction of regulatory requirements of projects/products on assigned IT projects. Provides management and strategic direction to a project team(s) and supports the project development, budget, and schedule at the portfolio level.

    Responsibilities include:

    · Supports the development and delivery of IT solutions.

    · Serves as a point of contact for assigned work, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives through tracking and developing of reports covering IT service level metrics, financials, budget and overall performance.

    · Consults with and drives organizational unit participation to accomplish projects and initiatives on schedule and within budget and to achieve resolution of major or complex project issues.

    · Supports program and project initiatives and effectively works with project solution teams to make decisions and influence project direction

    · Supports development of business, functional, and technical requirements for various initiatives within the road map

    · Implements best practices in portfolio management, optimization, and reporting.

    · Supports documentation of organizational unit’s desired business capabilities and requirements.

    · Supports the business deployment activities to deliver solutions to the clients specified in the design stage and establishes effective use of the service in order to deliver value to the clients.

    · Supports solution adoption and training efforts to increase user productivity, competency, cost savings and collaboration for assigned technical solution projects.

    · Supports the development of communications, strategy and execution services to existing and new

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    · 7-8 years of business or project/program/portfolio management experience.

    · Experience in the Utilities industry is preferred, not required.

    · 3-4 years of combined experience in implementing solutions.

    · Typically, 3-4 years of experience in implementing projects or key business initiatives.

    · Demonstrated experience managing and/or supporting project budget, scope, schedule, and resources, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance.

    · Demonstrated experience interfacing and collaborating with team members, all levels of management, different departments and vendors to develop solutions, facilitate cooperation between different parties, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
