The Regional Director is responsible for managing regional team performance, driving revenue growth, and developing growth opportunities over multiple territories in support of overall company objectives. This includes setting success criteria, providing leadership for the regional team, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on revenue, implementing policies, and maintaining budget. Establishes, defines and manages to a clear strategic direction and goal attainment targets for the regional team. Reports to EVP.

This position can be based in Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, or Cleveland

  • Manages the region in an efficient and orderly manner through effective business planning and implementation, ascribing to principles of key account prioritization.
  • Generate market awareness and drive revenue within assigned territories
  • Ensure each assigned territory meets, OR EXCEEDS, all revenue and profitability objectives
  • Responsible to prospect, quote and generate new business
  • Drive incremental growth from existing business
  • Participate in new facility implementations
  • Identify and build relationships with senior leadership and hospital administrators
  • Work with EVP to create regional territory plan
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Manage sales process, from discovery to closed, into new practices, clinics, and hospitals
  • Perform sales calls, product in-service, and follow-up with new and existing customers
  • Achieve facility compliance targets
  • Provide Dura Medic corporate with market intelligence and competitive updates
  • Demonstrates a consistent completion of administrative requirements including reporting in a timely manner, budget management, log-ins, etc.
  • 65% travel.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of reimbursement issues in the healthcare industry including managed care, institutional and retail market channels, disease states, and how those and other factors interact
  • Ability to Link solutions to patient customer needs, deliver Compelling Presentations, displays personal conviction, and establishes credibility and trust
  • Ability to meet appropriate healthcare facility credentialing guidelines
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communications and staff management skills
  • Strong time-management, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to gather customer specific information, analyze quantitative data, and interpret information
  • Ability to clarify customer interests, address customer issues, and manages customer expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate must enjoy and excel at personal relationship building.
  • Problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration
  • Seven (7) years of experience in healthcare
  • Five (5) years in a Management or Client Service role
  • Acute Care Experience and relationships required
  • Must have experience managing a remote team
  • Validdrivers’ license and good driving record (no more than three moving violation convictions within the past three years)
  • Comfortable presenting in the C-suite

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, feel, or reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

Work Environment:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
