Position Overview
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Quality Manager to join the team located in New Orleans, LA.
Position Responsibilities
- Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
- 1+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in a quality job role.
- Experience with QMS (Quality Management System) and AS9100.
- Experience preparing and presenting to executives.
- Experience working in a Defense or Space related program (e.g. NASA, DoD, etc.)
- Experience with Boeing Problem Solving Methods (BPSM)
- Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, NASA).
- Experience with Data Analytics, Integrated Quality Data System (IQDS).
