FCP Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager with interior/exterior knowledge and strong project planning, procurement and execution of a projects specifically in the hotel renovation space. The successful candidate will have defined scope, have a track record of success taking a project from start to finish, on time and on budget. Project manager will be the first point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising within a project and will act as the liaison between site management, upper management and the client.
This position will be responsible for managing our projects within the hotel vertical market to include, interior and exterior renovation and remodel projects to ensure safety, quality of product and service, and profitability on all projects assigned and/or sold under this positions oversight.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years of renovation including painting, construction, remodeling or facilities maintenance experience within the hotel vertical market.
- Proven project management experience in the hospitality renovation space
- Management of site superintendents
- Ordering supplies and negotiating contracts with sub contractors

Major Opportunities & Key Accountabilities:
- Work with client to prepare for upcoming hotel renovations and remodels on the schedule and communicate any considerations between the client and the foremen/superintendent.
- Supporting site superintendent in managing the client-specific responsibilities on projects
- Share in the key responsibility of communicating and training on administrative duties that are central in the efficient operation of the company and essential to minimizing the risks and liabilities of the employees and the corporation.
- Work with HR to hire appropriate site superintendent personnel according to company core values.
- Work with Safety and Compliance Manager to ensure that preventative programs are in place and being followed, keeping our employees safe and in compliance with all pertinent regulations.
- Work with Manager, National Operations to schedule and manage projects if using FCP Services in-house crews.
- Work within budget of project to order materials and equipment.
Nature & Scope:
- This position will have some travel (10-40%).
- This position will directly supervise Site Superintendents.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Flexible, trainable and a people person.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction, painting, remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable federal and state laws.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to communicate directly, consistently, and with the ability to organize and get tasks accomplished through other people while managing remotely.
