The Project Manager is a senior member of a research team within the Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies at Tufts Medical Center. Working closely with the Principal Investigator, this position has responsibility for the management and execution of this nationally-funded multi-site research study of depression and workplace productivity. The Project Manager will assist the Principal Investigator in supervising other study sites to ensure quality outcomes and effective management of the grant. This person will provide leadership and guidance while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the study primarily focusing on working adults with depression. Other responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:
Providing staff support for grant committees, timely completion for regulatory and oversight requirements including human subjects protection, managing the web-based subject recruitment system, monitoring site and subject recruitment, preparing timely reports on progress, troubleshooting recruitment barriers, and participating fully in report writing and manuscript preparation.
Providing support to the Principal Investigator and study staff in the development and implementation of project management and quality assurance activities for clinical research.
Participating in the design, preparation and dissemination of survey forms and other study support materials.
Assisting in the preparation and revision of manuals of operation and standard operating procedures for project implementation, developing tools to assist with training and monitoring adherence to the study protocol and procedures, and ensure a seamless level of communication between the study headquarters and participating sites.
Being a resource to the personnel at study sites.

Requirements:
Masters in health sciences, occupational health, counseling field or public health required.
5+ years of experience managing large survey research projects and/or a demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities requiring varying and often competing deadlines.

Supervisory experience, experience conducting projects involving health plans and employers is preferred.
MS Office software, database management/creation, data collection analysis experience, and overall computer proficiency required.
Excellent judgment, highly professional manner with an ability to maintain sensitivity, confidentiality, and tactfulness.
Superior communication skills (both written and oral), organizational skills, project planning and management skills.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, must work well independently and as a member of a team, and posses the ability to interact with a wide variety of personnel, departments, and organizations.
