Project Manager
This position is responsible for execution of one or more Strategic Enterprise Projects. Responsible for successful management of a project including executive communication, financial tracking, risk management, schedule inter-dependency management, and leadership of the team. Ability to translate strategy into value delivery for each project. Also provides coaching and mentoring to junior level Project Managers on EPMO methodology, standards and procedures.
- Responsible for delivery on complex projects. Ensure that the project meets outlined objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure that the project adhere to time, budget, and project milestones within agreed to tolerances. Manage trade-offs between scope, schedule, quality and budget. Monitor and control the progress of the project at strategic and operational level.
- Summarize project status and establish a project schedule and milestones. Monitor and control the progress of the project.
- Develop and fulfill project ‘s strategy and enable the realization of the project ‘s benefits
- Communicate effectively to senior executive management.
- Lead conversations to establish strategy for a project and then manage and update progress.
- Liaise with project sponsors, customers, vendors or partners. Adjust communication style based on participants, media, and nature of project
- Create and manage project budget and approve project expenditures.
- Track expected versus actual expenditures and provides budget reports to Manager of EPMO and Senior or Executive Management when required.
- Demonstrate advanced risk management techniques including active mitigation plans for project. Prioritize project issues and then proactively drive issues to closure.
- Ensure that all required deliverables that adhere to the SDLC and PLC are completed and approved.
- Escalate issue and resource constraints that impact project plans
- Articulate the value of a project and track the benefits realized. Perform cost/benefit analysis.
- Review project schedules and identify inter-dependencies. Create integrated project view and identify critical path.
- Review contracts and statements of work from vendors and partners.
- Manage and deliver the required products for each project, phase, or stage of a project based on that project’s work plan.
- Obtain signoff from project sponsor on deliverables and project completion.
- Ensure quality is achieved as planned. Enable quality assurance and quality control as appropriate.
- Gather key information from project managers to understand various project status, milestones, and schedules
- Obtain, direct, motivate and manage people; and manage the work and resources involved.
- Escalate decisions and unresolved issues to the next level of management.
- Communicate, facilitate and manage resolution to complex issues and challenging situations and personnel.
- Make recommendations to improve methodologies, processes and templates.

Job Type: Contract
Salary: $55.00 to $60.00 /hour
Experience:
