Position Overview:
The Project Managerâs responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include the assignment of deadlines and responsibilities and the summarizing of progress. This role reports to Operations leadership and manages a project team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide support for mergers and acquisitions, deployments, and internal projects
- Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Facilitate or coordinate strategic approaches to complex projects among cross-functional teams
- Drive project progress by identifying opportunities, overcoming obstacles and risks, developing strategic recommendations, and ensuring deliverables are executed effectively
- Manage communication with key stakeholders
- Document and follow-up on actionable intel from meetings
- Create and present meeting content and manage meetings
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Coordinate resources interdepartmentally and within the shared-service organization
- Influence internal decision-making processes
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Build trust and work collaboratively within all levels of the organization
- Assist with business development activities
- Analyze and lead acquisition transition from deal execution to integration
- Assist with core business operations outside of the integration efforts as time permits
- Forecast, develop, and maintain project budgets and financial reporting
- Identify, adopt, and ensure utilization of best practices and tools
- Create and oversee projects as assigned or self-assigned
- Maintain and share all status reports in relation to projects
- Recognize and mitigate project risks and communicate to leadership
