Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in various aspects of project management. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time and within budget; oversee all aspects of a project, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects, and preparing status reports for upper management. Successful candidates will manage and/or participate in the following types of initiatives:
- Project management across multiple work streams from planning to execution including but not limited to operations, business strategy, and finance initiatives
- Project governance, processes, procedures, and best practices
- Project execution, ensuring timely success, outstanding quality and overall satisfaction
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of proven experience in various aspects of project/program management and PMO operations
- Clear understanding and experience in project governance approaches (including but not limited to waterfall, iterative, Agile, and Scrum)
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, persuade, influence others and manage conflict to successful, productive conclusion
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with project management tools
- Strong Business Analysis skills a plus
- PMP certification a plus
- Prior consulting from either a large/strategic consultancy or internal corporate change management group is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
