Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
    • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Drives overall project communications to key internal and external stakeholders
    • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities; drive positive team morale and foster a team based environment amongst consulting team
    • Manages all operational aspects of a project and scope.
    • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
    • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
    • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
    • Minimizes project risk and applies risk assessment and mitigation strategies
    • Owns project accounting , budget management, contract management and reporting
  • Business Development
    • Identifies business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
    • Assists in proposal efforts including project scoping and LOE assessments.
    • Works as a key team member with sales and architects to drive future business.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.); MBA or Master degree in technology/management sciences preferred
  • 8+ years of total experience at project management/delivering enterprise applications solutions
  • 4+ years of leadership experience leading (technology focused) project teams of 2-5 people in size at a minimum
  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server based database design, OLTP databases, SQL server Set based concepts, advanced T-SQL programming, SQL Server performance tuning and SQLCLR (With .Net/C#)
  • Outstanding communications skills – written, verbal and inter-personal
  • Deep knowledge of best practices and models around project management methodologies
  • Possesses general understanding in the areas of Microsoft platform based application programming, database and system design.
  • Deep experience in 2 or more of BizTalk, Sharepoint, Commerce Server implementations
  • Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet, Web Services, SOA and client/server architectures.
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
  • Has working knowledge of Intellectual Property issues and is well versed in IT contracts negotiations
  • Experience in conducting consultative engagements, including facilitating customer workshops
  • Experience of analyzing customer requirements, scoping project deliverables and recommending ‘best of breed’ technologies
