DOING STEEL FABRICATION LLC, AISC Certified Structural Steel Fabricator is looking for a full time Project Manager for our Fort Myers, FL location. Doing Steel Fabrication has offices throughout Midwest and Southeast and supplies structural steel throughout the United States for commercial and industrial projects. Project Manager duties will include overseeing and managing multiple steel projects at one time, having daily communication with steel detailers, general contractors, structural engineers and steel erectors, attending job site meetings, reviewing contact drawings and shop drawings, issuing RFI’s and change orders as needed, providing takeoffs and pricing of steel scopes of work, helping coordinate deliveries and erection schedules as needed, negotiating and problem solving solutions in the field. This position is excellent for a candidate that enjoys a fast paced, and schedule driven business day. Familiarity with steel and construction terms is a plus, and past project management experience is beneficial. General business computer skills are required.
