The Marketing Director will be responsible for leading ADARA’s marketing activities and will oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to increase brand awareness and drive sales. The successful candidate will provide marketing guidance to management by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, and building awareness of the company’s brand.

ADARA is a member of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Amazon Partner Network (APN) as an Advanced Technology Partner. The Marketing Director will be responsible for maintaining collaborative working relationships with AWS representatives and partners and leveraging the programs available as an AWS partner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with executive leaders to develop and implement a marketing strategy and plan that includes ADARA brand management
  • Design or manage the design and implementation of a redesigned website
  • Manage, create content and maintain social media pages and compile analytics
  • Work with customers to write use cases
  • Accurately edit technical documentation and create promotional content, tradeshow materials and partner presentation materials.
  • Assist in the application process and qualification requirements for joining AWS APN programs.
  • Develop marketing strategy and campaigns for new and existing products
  • Oversee execution of marketing strategy, including campaigns, press releases, digital marketing, and social media strategy
  • Work with Operations team to identify tradeshows, conferences, and industry events to attend and compile marketing collateral and manage all related advertising and marketing initiatives
  • Work with HR to recruit a marketing team and manage the day-to-day activities of the marketing staff
  • Understand the market and competitors’ offerings through research and analysis
  • Conduct webinars on ADARA products with customers, partners, and AWS representatives
  • Leverage resources and programs available as an AWS partner
  • Produce joint collateral with AWS partners
  • Engage with PR and marketing firms to produce positioning content

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Experience with Google Analytics & Google AdWords
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Experience with social media marketing required, specifically Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing essentials and best practices to marketing initiatives
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Publisher and MailChimp
  • Experience in Cloud and/or Networking Industries a plus
  • Project Management experience
  • SEO experience and/or knowledge highly preferred
  • Experience working with PR Newswire (Cision) to publish press releases preferred
  • Proficient in all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS partner programs and marketing programs highly preferred
