HR Technology Solutions Delivery Manager, Vice President
Job Summary:
HR Tech Solutions Delivery Manger will be a hands-on manager with HR Technology background will be responsible for managing business relationship, own all projects/enhancements intake for business, focus on continuous process improvement. Partners with System Managers to build and drive data driven, fact-based processes and procedures around HR Technology. Responsible for managing a team of business analysts/Project Lead. Reporting to Director of Business Technologies, HR Systems, responsible for delivering integrated business services to assigned HR Organization.
Major Responsibilities:
- In the assigned areas, responsible for building a culture of accountability that uses data to evaluate performance and make decisions, demonstrate the performance of the team, identify improvement opportunities and make meaningful contributions to the strategic direction of the team.
- Provides the necessary processes and deliverables required to manage projects successfully by overseeing multiple or single projects.
- Manages the team’s efforts to ensure timeliness of project deliverables of on time and within budget.
- Supports the bank’s governance requirements and policies including stage gate agreements and other project control deliverables. Is familiar and supports the PMI knowledge areas of project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resourcing, communications, risk and procurement management.
- Performs work that is complex and varied in nature. Defines and discerns key aspects of a problem and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact. May provide guidance/training to more junior staff.
- Creates and develops project charter, planning stage estimates to obtain approval, communications plan, governance council packages and business case preparation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Communicates with various levels within the organization for status or escalation. Constructs statements of work, business or operational process change plan and identifies impacts.
- Responsible for tracking key project achievements and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Responsible for assembling project plans and assigns work to team members. Conducts the project meeting.
Management of staff:
- Directs the staff/team and monitors work efforts; performs quality review; and raises functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Ability to build and strengthen people and teams. Ability to determine and manage effective performance metrics and targets.
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Ensure reviews to ensure full governance and compliance requirements met, validation of testing, certifications and pre-production cutover signoffs.
- Develop and manage overall performance planning for staff that equips team members with meaningful career paths, enhanced skills and best practices to continually improve the value for the bank.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience with Project Management experience including translation of functional requirements, technical specifications documentation, development, testing, and implementation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Understanding of cloud integration methodologies.
- Extensive experience with project management tools and structured methodologies; PMP Certification is a plus
- Experience with Agile Program management.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of SDLC concepts, framework and deliverables
